In the advanced options for the **Displacement material height map** , a new **Height Field Tracing** algorithm has been added alongside the existing Subdivision Displacement.

#### **Applicable Scenarios**

  * Suitable for material scenarios that require the presentation of surface irregularities and details such as brickwork, wood grain, and weaving.

  * Especially in large, performance-sensitive scenarios, it can serve as a lightweight alternative to subdivision replacement.

_**Note:**__Height Field Tracing does not support "__**Triplanar**_ _"._
