# What is the 'FPS Booster for Complex Geometry'?

When enabled, it significantly improves rendering performance (FPS) when processing complex meshes and scenes with a large number of geometries, bringing smoother real-time experience.

Added 'FPS Booster for Complex Geometry' option in Menu.

> Note:
>
> * In the latest version, it only affects the real-time preview without affecting rendering outputs.
>
> * The FPS improvement from this feature depends on the GPU's ray-tracing performance and the mesh configuration in the scene; not all scenes will experience an increase.

## FAQs

  1. Why do the materials appear dark when enabling ‘FPS Booster for Complex Geometry’?

If the situation in the ↓ image occurs, it is very likely to be related to the scene model.

If the dark area model has been grouped in the modelling software, please try to ungroup/explode it in the modelling software and then update it to D5.
